I'm looking to buy a Fallkniven S1 but am having trouble deciding on whether to get the zytel sheath or leather one. I have done some research, talked to some youtubers who have posted reviews on it but i got nothing concrete (or rather i'm asking too much)
So what i want to ask is this, how secure is the knife in the leather sheath? will it drop out if i run and jump with it? what about shaking it upside down? How does it hold up to being wet/super cold environments?
I'm leaning more towards the leather sheath but i don't like the dangler feature :\
Is there anyone who makes custom sheaths here? I don't wanna wait for 3+ months like from JRE industries.
I live in Singapore and my budget is USD 80 inclusive of shipping. I want vertical carry on my belt (no dangler please, no no no) and also a sturdy button strap around the handle to give it added security in staying in the sheath. Preferably an army firesteel holder on the front, slightly lower so it sits in the recess of the blade part of the sheath. Leather colour to be black.
