this is my first post but i have a thought

i have recently upgraded my becker collection with the bk7 combat. now we all know becker makes great knives but horrible sheaths, my thought would the bk7 fit in the standard 7inch mckbar leather sheath sold on there website?

thanks jackson

I'm about 99% sure it won't. The BK7 is a wider blade than the F/U and the handle has more girth. Head over to the becker sub-forum and they can help you locate a better sheath more to your liking. The Spec-ops combat master sheath is a popular upgrade but is a similar style to the factory sheaths. There are some great custom sheath makers on bladeforums too. One of them is even doing a design-your-own-sheath contest where the winner gets their design made for their becker for free.

1st post or not, it's a winner cos' you picked an epic name. Love it!

And yea, I concur, that's definitely a no go.

While we're on the subject of sheath questions, does anybody know if the The BK9 sheath will accommodate an LHB?

Right now my big n' heavy is sitting in a nylon sheath for you standard Rambo type "survival" knife, yeah right, with a cheap small (gas station SAK type) whetstone in a front pouch made for one, but I'd like to have a more useful front pocket..

I doubt that one also since the BK9 is .188 and the LHB is .25. BK9 sheath isn't snug though so it might work. I'd be more inclined to seek out a custom sheathmaker.
