My brother has a collection that he plans to sell when he retires. He has a problem however. He took the knives out of their sheaths for storage and now he is not sure which knife goes with which sheath. I only own one Randall myself, so I could not help him. Is there an easy way he can match the knives to the sheaths when he is ready to sell?

A lot of times and in most cases I've seen, the sheaths are marked on the back numerically with the knife style number as the first digit and the blade length as the second digit.

Just to help a bit, I hope, the Randall Model 1 and the Model 5 both fit in the same sheath. A sheath may well be stamped, for example, 1 7 meaning Model 1 with a 7 inch blade, but a Model 5 with a 7 inch blade fits that same sheath.
