sheath question

I have a CRK Mountaineer I. I either need to get a better belt or have someone make me a kydex with a teklock for this thing. The sheath that came with the knife is a very nice sheath, but it moves up and downd and slides all over the place on my belt.

So oddly enough, what's a good belt? The one I have is just a black leather from The Gap.

And who could make the kydex sheath for one of these?

Contact PiterM. He makes a very good Kydex sheath for CRK knives.

I just had Robert at Survival Sheath Systems make some sheaths for my CRK Skinner. Top quality sheaths. The best belts money can buy in my opinion are those from The Wilderness, their Original Instructors Belt is the belt all others try to imitate. Hope this helps.

Hey Guys...

I'd have to agree with KV on PiterM..
If I had the knife I'd say I'd do it,, however Piter I believe has the goods..

He makes some pretty nice Chit!!

If Piter can't do it,, drop me a note,,and I can handle it for you...

As for a belt..
You simply can't get a better belt than the Wilderness Instructors belt..

I use the 1 3/4" with stiffener.. It's F-ing Awesome,,I've got a blackhawk rigger belt,,and it's a joke compared to the wilderness..

contact Piter and see if he has anything in stock,, if not,,drop me a note..

I emailed Piter, looks like he may have what I want.

What's so great about this Wilderness belt?

Just got my Wilderness Instructor Belt! 1 3/4" wide, 3 stitch, 32" waist. I wanted a wide one, but the least stiff one (so it's more comfortable), just wonder if the 1 3/4" may be too beefy for me. It's a pretty solid belt for sure. My CRK Mountaineer I felt large and obtuse on my old leather belt, but almost disappears on this belt, so I like that. But, I can't help but feel that a kydex sheath would be more at home on this rig, that and a bigger knife! Say a MkVI? :D Good recommendation guys!
