I don't mean to undermine any sheath makers out there, but rather just want to get an honest opinion from all Busse lovers...

1. Which sheath maker is most bang for buck?
2. Which sheath best deserves your FBM LE? FFBM? FBM? SH-e? FSH?
3. Got any pics? Prices???

I've got several that need some pants....
Thanks Hogs of the trough!!!

Decide which type that you want. Leather, Kydex, or the Ballistic Nylon w/ Kydex (type) liner. I prefer the third as it can come w/ a pocket for a diamond hone, ceramic rod, fire steel, or whatever you might want to keep with you. SPEC OPS are pretty good off the shelf for that type but the ones offered by SEMPER PARATUS are fit to your Busse for, I assume, no 'battle rattle'. I'll find out for myself as soon as I can bear to part w/ my HHFSH to have Dan make one to fit.
I'm sure that as the day goes on, older, more experienced Busse Hogs will make their arguments for their favorites. Plenty of good advice but in the end, you'll have to decide what you want and/or need. Have fun. Pete
Post script. See the Busse Combat web site for a link to SHEATH OPTIONS. All top notch makers, from what I understand. P.S.

The ones on the Busse site are great! Think they all offer good bang for the buck.

Some have sites to see there sheaths, others will mail you pics if you ask.
I assume you are talking leather.

If you are talking kydex there is a diff in the blade retention type and the audible click type that holds at the handle.

If your like me deciding on a sheath is harder than deciding on a knife.

I've asked PG for one of his great FBM sheaths. Not only does his work look great -- he's also the man who got me addicted to INFI in the first place.

You've got to have some loyalty...:)

Seriously, his FBM sheath design looks very nice!

I will back up that all the makers on the Busse sites are top draw.. they wouldn't have them there otherwise!

I am a true leather lover, in knife terms that is :p, there is no man made fabric on this planet which retains the same properties that good leather does...

here's a few from armoral leather, dwayne puckett.

These two are from Kenny Rowe:

On the left is my Desert Natural Outlaw variant....on the right is a MOASH in a sheath with a pin lock:

I have one from Dwayne (Armoralleather) on order, but not in hand.

I have this one from Mike Bartol. Is it a beauty.

I see that the LEATHER and INFI crowd has chimed in. Any Kydex or ballistic nylon folks going to step up ? Pete

It all depends on the use you want to put your knife. If you want to take it out on long treks and hunts, I think a ballistic nylon sheath is best, like from Semper Paratus. If you just want to chop around the garden or ranch and aren't expecting to roll around in the mud and water (like a true hog) then I would go with a leather sheath and the Busse site has some real masters listed there such as our Leatherman and Kenny Rowe. If you want the most streamlined model, get a Kydex. Mr. Brown did a fantastic job on a Kydex sheath for me. I'm trying to buy a L.E. Mistress and I would put leather pants on her because I think she's a bit too heavy for hard core expeditions in canoes and such. If I was making one for a lighter Mistress like an ergo or a zero tolerance I would go ballistic nylon. If I wanted a sheath for skydiving with a badger I would go Kydex. I hope this info helps. Cheers, Alex.

Like it has already been said it sort of depends on the use you are putting the knife to.

I lean toward Buy Brown Kydex for every day carry, or belt carry in the woods, also great for weak side carry angled for crossdraw, Sleek, trim, Speedos for knives.

Okuden for leg with Leg strap and for anyone jumping from Aircraft or going down Rapids while carrying, best retention, Might well be the Strongest, most durable kydex knife sheaths made but effort to get the knife out and to put the knife back.

I only have a few leather Sheaths for my Busse knives, and that is for dress up to match the Boots in Public or to keep scratches off.
