Sheath Template?

I'm looking to make a sheath for my first gen BK-2 does anyone have any pointers, and do you know how I would make or get a good template?
 
get a paper grocery sack, fold it over the knife and pinch tight all around the blade.
cut the paper about 1/2" away from the edge of the blade and about 1/2 way up the handle.
 
I really like the scout carry with tin pouch and flint rod holder but I'm not nearly good enough to make one of those yet lol

A plain scout carry wouldn't be too hard to make. Transfer the size of the blade to a piece of cardboard (open cereal boxes work great). Add about 1/2 to 3/4 inches all around. Cut out three pieces of leather, front back and welt. Add some straps and your done.
 
Try a few pouch style ones first before one of the complicated ones. Or you can wait a bit til I get my sheath kits finalized. :D
