i hope i put this in the right spot.

i have a benchmade nimravus and the kidex sheath is way to hard is there a way to loosen it up i have tried braking it in by putting it in and out of the sheath and got no luck im leaving for my next tour in less then a week and i really don't want to have to carry the stock nylon molly sheath PLEASE HELP

A hair dryer or boiling water have both been suggested for making minor adjustments to Kydex. I have never tried either because I have a heat gun. If you can identify specifically where the problem is, it will be easier to fix. I often find a sharp corner on the grip or guard where the Kydex is molded tightly around and is just snagging up, sometimes this can be fixed by a little rounding or smoothing on the knife itself. At any rate you want to be careful when trying to "unmold" Kydex, start with too little heat and work your way up. Going at it the other way just makes pancakes.
For what it's worth, the Kydex will continue to break in for some time. I have tried drawing and sheathing a knife hundreds of times to break them in, and they are still a little looser after a month of carry.
I would offer to fix it but it sounds like there is no time for shipping both ways before you head out, so unless you are in my neighborhood, it seems like a moot point.
