Sheath typical of quality?

I purchased one of the lower priced SOG models - the government agent and was sorely disappointed at the quality of the kydex sheath. Thin, edges rough and not matching size (from one side to the next), edges not finished. In contrast the CS SRK model, another lower end knife came with a beautiful Kydex sheath.

I am curious to see if other owners have had this experience with their SOG fixed knife purchases?

Hi Jeffrey,

I'm sorry for your disappointment with the Kydex sheath for your Agent. Though I've not compared it with the CS model with which you are referring, the problems you are describing should not be.

Actually, I'm very impressed with the sheath that came, standard issue. A buddy of mine has a Desert Dagger, which he bought about 8 years ago. The Nylon/plastic sheath he got, from the factory is... awsome.
