It's the same leather sheath that comes with the other wood handled Vanguards. Only difference is the color. Best way I can describe it is a deep reddish brown. (or very dark maroon) Also on the front of it is the Alaska Guide logo w/head of a ram. (at least I think it's a ram) Sorry, I don't have a camera to post a pic. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the description. I have a rubber handled vanguard that I would like to get a leather sheath for. Does anyone know if you can just order the sheath?

Send Joe Houser an email. I'm sure Buck offers sheathes for sale or they would send you in the right direction where you could buy one.

Check out Buck's website. I'm pretty sure I saw the different model sheaths for sale there.
