Hi all. I recently purchased a Seal Pup, and I'm not too sure if I got an old model. a) Mine does not have the word 'SOG' in bold. It has instead a small 'SOG Specialty Knives' in a small box (pic 1). It is on top when the knife is facing left (pic 3) b) The sheath is different from the one on the SOG website.

Looks like you got a knife with the older style SOG logo on it. We just recently switched the logo about 6-8 months ago. So I am sure there are still knives for sale with the older style logo. Other than that there is no difference between the knives.
 
I just looked at a buddies and his is identical to yours. He bought his around 2003 or early 2004. Hope that helps!!!
 
Hey Chris, madborderman07. Thanks for the replies. Yea I was guessing it was an older model, but thanks for comfirming it. It's a great knife, I am really happy with it.
