Anyone know where I can get an older style two piece sheath , black, for my 124? I picked the knife up a while ago on the 'bay, black micarta, for about $60 but no sheath.I'd like to carry and use it.

The 2 piece threw me off also.

Anyway Skunk Ape, there is a factory Buck sheath on there right now pretty reasonable (a newer one), and also a very nice custom sheath for the Buck 124 currently.
If all you are looking for is a sheath to carry it, one of those should suit you?

Check the sheath makers forum on here, and have a sweet custom sheath made!!! :thumbup:

Maybe two piece was the wrong nomenclature. Iam refering to the type sewn around the perimeter of the sheath, front and back seperate, not one piece folded around and sewn on one side only like the newer 119 style.

I still think, you will just have to be patient and watch the bay, if you really want that style. It may be tough to come by though! You could always buy another 124 with that sheath and rotate the pair

I found this one today for about $30 shipped. Granted its a newer distressed version, it is the style you are looking for.
