Does the rear of the MOLLE Backplate have a loop(s) for attachment to a regular belt? Can't recall seeing a picture of it from behind and have been wondering since my RC-3 arrived (I didn't order it with the MOLLE backplate).
Thanks.

One reason I like MOLLE sheaths is that my belt fits through the PALS webbing to carry the knife horizontally very easily.

I doubt it has loops for standard verticle carry, but the strap that is used to weave through PALS webbing can be used. Just skip the first PALS loop or two, and then thread the strap under the remaining loops. That forms a loop to run your belt through.

Many thanks. I like horizontal carry myself...sounds like it'll work, plus I get to ogle the babe on the site (again) when I order.

Mine has a clip, I belive. Are you talking about the piece that is in a plastic package, separately?

I will use this opportunity ask a couple questions as well.
1.Does MOLLE blackplate have same size regardless to which RC you attach it to?
2.If "Yes", what are those measurements?
3.What is distance between those holes (on opposite sides) - centre to centre?

I was talking about that nylon piece that the kydex sheath attaches to, not the plastic piece with the clip.

The Molle back that came with my RC4 has a loop for regular vertical carry. The molle backing is the same for the RC3 and RC4, as the blades are the same width. I would imagine that the RC5 and RC6 would be the same also. I do know that the Molle for the RC4 will not fit the RC6. The holes are too narrow.

A rear shot of the MOLLE BACKPLATE on the site would probably be a good idea.

The molle back (nylon) is the same for the RC3 andRC4--it will be different for the RC6

If you will look at this picture from our site it shows the MOLLE back on a piece of MOLLE gear and how to properly thread a MOLLE strap. If you will notice the flap of Cordura at the very top that folds over, that's the belt loop for attaching to a standard belt without using the MOLLE strap or MOLLE system. So, the belt doesn't go under the MOLLE strap since it has it's own place to go. The plastic drop-leg extender ring is at the very top of the belt loop.
