I had emailed one of the members here about a year or so ago about sheaths for Buck 110's...and whether the member could also make up holsters for pistols...

My idea was to have a matching set of holster/clip pouch/Buck 110-560 sheath...(no; not all-in-one; but separate)... ;)

...I lost the email... :(

Does anyone know of whom I speak??? (Is that member still here?)...

Maybe it was Jack Rudder. Why don't you PM him.
I have some of his sheaths and really like them.

I'm not aware of that person, but I know Chris of "Treestump Leather" could make whatever you want.

Here's something I just finished up...

Thank you all for your replies. I have emails out to all artisans suggested here to try to get an idea of how to go about this... :)

This is just a wild guess. You want a holster for that Luger .:D:thumbup:
and 110 .

Thanks Darryl, while I can do the 110 sheath, which works well due to it's profile
I'm not setup to do pistols, so wouldn't be able to fulfill both requests :(
Nice fitup there Rayban!

...Ummm...Nope...I have a Star BM that I now carry as my go-to...At one time, it was the smallest 9mm Parabellum in production...Think of a 7/8 scale Colt Commander...

Lugers have their own eccentricities...One of which is ejecting the spent case straight up...and usually hitting you in the forehead...

Thanks for pointing that out, Gary!:thumbup:

Hi trax,
I have one of those little Star 9mm's, how does your function? The one I have jams on every other shot, right out of the box and that sucks. It is one hell of a heavy pistol for being so small. But, as a single shot it's accurate as hell:o

the Star BM is all steel; the BKM has the aluminum frame. Mine is the BM; an ex-Policía Nacional issue sidearm, bought used. Functions fine. Sights adjusted for a left-handed shooter... ;)

Is yours a FireStar???

Can someone tell me what Buck is doing with the 110's as far as sheaths. There seem to be three types, nylon, black leather and brown leather. When do you get what? Is it a price thing?

The Wally 110 comes with a Cordura (nylon) sheath. The Buck Factory sold or some retail store 110's "generally come with the black leather sheath. Some of the custom or limited production come with the distressed brown leather sheath. How ever I have seen exceptions to this. This just from my experience. BTW the Buck Factory store has the black leather sheaths availible most of the time.

Thank you- I have even seen a 'light' nylon sheath.

Hi Trax,

Just took a look and yep, it's a FireStar. Any thoughts on how to help it become a simi-auto?

I found this comment when Googling the problem - "Without a little ramp and chamber work, it will only digest FMJ reliably."

I prefer FMJ, and reload both 115 & 124 gr FMJ for the 9mm. I don't like those frangible rounds that gun shops seem so stocked with. Haven't had any problems with my BM. IIRC, the FireStar has some kind of SS finish (maybe all SS?); on my SS pistols, I use military surplus LSA (developed for the m16) and it prevents the "galling" effect that SS exhibits with some gun oils.

Hmm....looks like this thread isn't gonna contain a bunch of pictures of cool sheaths and links where we can get 'em. :(

Nope. It's more a list of several custom sheath makers who will build you what you want.:thumbup:
