I have done a couple of sheaths and a frog for a couple of you guys. A Bolo frog, a Sarge knife sheath, and another sheath. The last pic is the R6, I think, I got on the DOTD, the sheath was horrible, but the knife is unbelievably cool. The sheath is a dud that happened in the process of getting the Sarge sheath ready, but will work fine for me. Thats the great thing about duds. I get to keep em.

Only the first pic with the R6 was a dud. There was a few duds on the pancake sheath, but I haven't finished stitching them up yet. That one was a bear to get done.

The bear of it must be the thickness of the leather and layers . Just to manipulate it let alone stich it must take a lot of care .

Looks great!

dress the edges, and you'll be set.

Gracias. Yea Kevin the thicker the whelts the more likely for me to mess up the drillholes for the thread. That is why the dud is a dud.

Handsome, Andy.

(er...the sheaths, that is. Not you. I didn't mean to imply that I find you attractive. Not that you may not be, but I don't ...er.... Nevermind.)

Awesome work Andy...Getcha some edgeing ink and some sandpaper and you will be set...I dig that pancake...Been meanning to work on one and havent gotten around to it...darn sick snakes!!!

Cant wait for you to see what I have been working on late in the nite, when are all asleep!!muahahahahahaha<~~~demented laugh!!!!;)

Gracias bro. Can't wait to see it.

Andy,
Don't feel bad about duds. It's a learning process. Every sheath should be a bit better than the last, if you're learning the techniques. Neat, even stitching is not easy to master, but it can be done.

Thanks Bri. I'm undaunted. I needed a sheath for the R6 anyway, and dudley though that one is, it'll last for a lifetime, so wha the how?
