I recently purchased a couple of rescued vintage Gransfors Bruks and Wetterlings Axes. Although the handles are new, the axe heads are vintage. By vintage, I mean that the heads date anywhere from the 1950s through the 1970s. My understanding is that axes made back then differ in size/dimensions, from both makers, than the current models. Obviously, current sheath offerings will most likely not fit either axe correctly.
I'm actually looking for a sheath maker to craft a couple of sheaths for me. I'm sure that this forum should be full of members who can steer me in the right direction.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
