hey yo, need a sheath for a ratvveiler and battle rat (soon to get)
i have a ratweiler and its beautiful, and gives a great sense of power and confidence when held. very well balanced once you get used to the brutally heavy tang.
it doesnt really stay hair poppingly razor very long, but once it gets to that point it just stays a little "less than razor sharp" forever. i smacked it against a mikes hard lemonade bottle and it just dented the edge a little bit, but it was very small and a little micro-sandpaper and hard stropping took it right out. usually glass will really mess up an edge no matter what blade it is. i really dont think another knife can come close to this quality for the price. actually i know that for a fact. sure theres a lot of great military and utility knives out there that perform great, but the rats just have it all. it seems to beat out everything i have with every test i throw at it.
anyway i guess its hard not to rave on about this thing. im going to be getting a tan BR soon enough and i want a sheath for it and the ratweiler. i havent really seen one that suits me yet, so if theres any sheath makers, post pics *pleeease!*
what kind of prices am i looking at? mostly i just want to get a leather one.
i figured out how to mold the kydex to the knife so it will hold it upside down and keep the blade from touching the kydex. pretty cool stuff that kydex...
