I really like their sheath designs. Blends in very nicely for attaching to nylon bags/packs. Any sheath makers that make semi custom sheaths like Lost Mountain Iron Works Footlong and J. Holmes?

Would really love one like it for my FSH. Just not as uh, Wonderlandtastic. :p

Spec Ops is supposed to be coming out with a larger sheath. The last time I called them it was still in the r&d stage.

The FSH should fit nicely in the spec ops combat master large. You might have to mold the kydex a little if you have a thicker .27+ knife.

Yeah, but I'd prefer one like the Spec Ops modular sheath with packs that can be installed on the sheath. I really like how the LMIW has the two pouches on top. Or maybe I can attach the sheath in between a wider side pack and the PALS webbing (4 wide).

Measured my FSH's blade width. It's at least 2-1/8" wide. And it's the 2008 LE one, so it's 0.27" Thick.

Unfortunately rules out nearly production sheaths like Spec Ops and that Field Master. Looks like Custom Sheath Maker is the way to go. But All the makers I've seen in the Sheath forum are Leather or Kydex. :(

Yeah man a Spec Ops large combat master is no good for a .27 FSH. I have a satin saber HHFSH that I semt out for a custom spec ops liner and it did not work out. I went with a regular kydex sheath instead. I am going to add a Scrapivore + sheath and a pouch to it. I figure I could always add molle clips to it if I needed to then it would acomplish everything I wamted the Spec Ops to.

mymindisamob was able to heat and stretch the plastic insert on his Spec-Ops to fit the original, real deal HHFSH. I suspect that the newer sabre 0.27" FSH are actually thicker than the CG originals.

I have the 2008 Special Edition FSH which has full flat grind satin finish and is 0.27" Thick.
