I bought a knife kit from Atlanta Cutlery That I was going to build just for the heck of it as I'm disabled and it seemed to be fun. I now have bought some blades and handle material and am setting up a little shop.I know I'll be having more questions as I get more involved with it but right now would like to know where I might get some sheath patterns and/or ideas for sheaths? I would like to heaar from anyone withmany information. Thanks and have a good one.

Welcome to the forums; you might want to try posting this in the Shop Talk forum for advice on actually making sheaths. For some ideas of what others have done in both leather and plastic, you could check out Kenny Rowe's stuff as seen at:

Eric Noeldechen makes really excellent Kydex (plastic) sheaths:

Both of these artists are among, IMO, the top of their fields, and I own sheaths by both of them that are really well-made and useful.

Welcome newone. You didn't mention what kind of sheath you're looking to make, but if you're looking for some great tutorials on knife making as well as on "How to make a pouch sheath" my suggestion would be to check out Bruce Evans' page.

http://www.homestead.com/beknivessite2/guard.html

I think that would be a great place to start, it may also give you some inspiration to try some of his other techniques. Bruce also posts here and if you have any questions you'll be able to get them answered.

Good luck!
