Hey all, I'm going to be making fixed blades again along with my folders, one the biggest problems I have is I don't like making sheaths. If you guys could recomend some good sheath makers, Kydex, Cordura shell/kydex lined, or leather, it would be appreciated. It has been such a long time since I made sheath knives, and the new knives will be vastly different from the fixed blades I used to make. Thanks in advance -- Charles

I concur that Eric does make good kydex/concealex (I never figured which) sheaths over at On-Scene Tactical.

Hey, Charles...the only custom sheaths that I have experience with are from Clay at BalisongXtreme and I second crosman's recommendation on that one. I have two of his basic horizontal sheaths for balisongs, but he's also made a nice kydex rig for my BK&T BK7.

As for the other guys, all the work that I've seen by those guys look to be quality stuff as well.

Couldn't agree with you more! I dislike fixed blade sheaths, focusing on folder sheaths only now, check with one of the following guys;

Sandy Morrissey on the forums here as Helmar(forgot the rest of the numbers in his forum name, do a search for Like)

Lifter4Him is making sheaths and has done several for WD Pease for his fixed blades, he might be willing to lend a hand.

Kenny Rowe also makes great sheaths as well

Those are leather guru's

Kydex Guru would be Normark on the forums here aka Eric, he's in Canada but does excellent work.

Thanks guys, appreciate the info. Emailed a couple guys, so we'll see what happens. Thanks again -- Charles
