So I have grown tired of the sheeples, I carry a nice little small safe knife for those little sheeple, but now I want to go big. I want the biggest folding knife I can get for 50 dollar range. I was thinking resilience but what else, bigger the better!!!!

Get a 007

A foot long when open and only $10.

if you're willing to go just a little over $50....I'd say get a Cold Steel Spartan. Best rediculous knife for the money.

One tempting, but I would not recommend, the Cold Steel Pocket Bushman. 4 and 1/2 in blade, and surprisingly thin and easy to carry. For 35 bucks, I like it.. BUT the lock on it is a little bit scary, I am just waiting for it to close on my finger (when closing, pressure from the lock starts giving it some uumph around the halfway point, if you let it go there, it snaps pretty hard), and when it does, it'll go DEEP. Also, I've heard of a few failures, but it seems pretty darn solid. So, Bid, cheap, maybe quite tough, but it stays in the outside pocket (outside of the skeleton handle knife) in the sheath for my crazy/bug out ka bar ZK war sword. The big knife I carry and love, is my BM onslaught, but they are way more, of course. I'd go up a bit on the price like others have said and maybe an voyager XL. In my experience, I have never regretted spending more on a knife for something a bit nicer, but have repeatedly regretted not getting the better blade and ending up with something i don't carry.
Then again, is there a limit on fixed blades in CO? in CA there's no length limit as long as it is visible, so I like to strap that 10 inch ka bar to my leg when I wear gym shorts, bus drivers love it!:D
add thought - I don't have a Resilience, but I do have an ambitious and tenacious, and they are great blades. I would like a resilience myself for another over 4 inch blade!

Spend $80 and get the Cold Steel Rajah 2. It's a tank, it's huge, and it's hilarious. Plus it has a "wave" and can be deployed super fast. And the whole thing fits in your jeans pocket!

The Spyderco Resilience is really nice for a big, cheap folder.

I'd also check out the Kershaw Tremor if you're into assisted opening flippers.

Heck, if you shop around a little you might be able to get both for your budget.

Seconded. It's so ridiculous that you can't help but laugh. Until you realize that someone was willing to carry a 6" kukri blade with them at all times. Then you're not laughing any more.

What's the legal limit in your area? Also calling people sheeple isn't constructive to getting non knife people to support knives. Don't alienate, educate.

Doesn't the Bay area of stricter ordinances in blade length? IIRC SF proper is 3", open carry and no fixed blades, just like LA and OC

To the OP, look at some of the Kershaw Blems. You can get a CB JYD II for 55.

To the OP, from my reading of Colorado's STATE knife laws, it appears to me that CO has the following length limits- Fixed-blades must have a blade no longer than 3 inches, folders must have a blade no longer than 3 1/2 inches.

But you shouldn't just take the word of a stranger on the internet when arrest or knife confiscation might be possibilities. Investigate your local laws for yourself. Always know your local knife laws.

I would recommend looking at the Cold Steel Recon 1 (several blade profiles) or the Kershaw Junkyard Dog II. They are large, but realistically so. They may be a bit out of your price range but I think you would like either of them. Here's a size reference to my preferred EDC knives, the Kershaw Skyline and the Ka Bar Dozier.
