I've enjoyed modifying my bk16 so much that I want a new mod project! Just playing around with different thoughts in my head right now but I was considering turning another bk16 into a modified sheepsfoot blade! Here's a quick photoshop of a BK16 after removing some of the blade. Thoughts?

p.s. Tried on the bk14 first, but I measured it out and the blade would be too short. BK14 would be under 2". BK16 modded this way would be around 3 which is more reasonable.

Crazy ass custom becker there man...I'm not sure if I'd do it since I dont really like wharnies but if you have a spare 16 I suppose you could give it a try? This is a pretty big mod project, if you attempt it remember to not get bummed out and abandon it.

This is the kind of stuff I like! Though I wonder if a Bk2 Sheepsfoot would be a better idea.

There's one way to find out - I hear you know a guy who loves the bandsaw. :D

I like warriors designs a lot better than mine, especially the top one. I think I would use it without the scales though. With a 3 inch blade I would want it to be a neck knife. I think I'll cord wrap my 16 for a bit when I get home from work and see how it feels. Anyone messed around with cord wrapping their tweener?

I think a 7 or 3 would make a good wharnie or sheepsfoot myself...
I mean, with the 3 the edge is already straight and they even started the cut for you! How much easier can it get? :D

I was looking at a 3 the other day and thought the same thing...
