I'm looking at a 3 inch Sheepsfoot style blade right now. I've had no exp. with them....

Are they a good EDC shape?

I plan on throwing everything at this knife....

And I'm interested in any good or bad exp. with this blade shape.

Thanks,

Brian

If you not stabbing with them there just great, i love the sheepsfoot blade myself, talk about cutting in a straight line or anything thick there the best by far IMO. I have quite a few sheepsfoot blades and i like them with a 2 1/2" to 3" blade, that's all i every needed with them. BTW there also great for whittling.

Gotta love the sheepsfoot. It's a very useful and strong blade shape. I use a relatively cheap Klein splicer's knife every day at work and I mean it gets used for just about everything.

Me too. I love the shape. Seems friendlier. Safer in an emergency. More strong edge to bring to bear in most day to day cutting. I use a spyderco Bob Terzuola every day and take the Benchmade Rescue and River with me when I'm paddling on the river or walking in the bush.
