I've become interested in the friction folders and wondered are there any that come in a sheepsfoot?

I'm sure there are, but being a complete new I dunno where to look. Any help would be appreciated!

There's always the Japanese Higonokami which has kind of a sheepsfoot blade, but might not necessarily be what you are looking for.
I don't have any pictures, but I'm sure someone could post some.

I've looked at some in the knifemaker's exchange. That blade shape is close, but I was hoping for a more traditional sheepsfoot.

Look into the MaM knives being imported by boker, just google-fu MaM Sheepfoots knife. Some are friction only, others are linerlock, 420hc @ 56hrc

I picked up several different configurations of those MAM knives, they are a true bargain and perform well above their price tag. Ultra thin grinds and they come sharp enough to please me right out of the box. I went for the liner lock versions, and not one dud out of the three I have on hand. Nothing fancy about them but they sure get the job done!

There are a number of Spanish Sheepsfoot friction folders, I picked one up in the market last week, like a little pocket razor :)

I have a MAM locking blade. Thin blade (clip point) that took a razor edge. Not a bad knife for the $$$. I would think the sheepsfoot would be as good.

At the absolute opposite end of the spectrum from Michael Morris is this Pallares friction folder. Cost under $5 I think, though you can get nicer ones than this. Still it sharpened up very easily.

I've been thinking about ordering one of these knives from Brussels. In an email he said they are from $200 - $300 US and take a bit to make...but he has some "modern" designs and a couple of sheepsfoot models.

Victorinox also makes a sheepsfoot as one model of their "florist/floral" line. Of course it isn't a friction folder.
