:) Just recently received one made "custom" .

Never had one before or even knew they existed .

Ordered on a whim , because it looked to be comfy for contact with my old skinny bones . Plus , hopefully will tend to stay in place and not slide around .

Not sure how to clean and maintain this stuff . The "genuine sheepskin" part , that is . I know about the molded leather part .

It's a very basic IWB molded leather type with a metal belt clip . The sheepskin is basically just padding only on the side of the holster against wearer's body .

I'm still just starting to get used to it , but so far seems be nice and comfortable for extended wear .

It is somewhat thicker overall than I'm used to . But I expect it will tend to flatten out with time and getting worn in .

Anybody got any experience with this sort of holster padding , or relevant comments ?

I have an ankle holster with sheepskin, really comfortable, usually not on skin, but a sock.
I do occasionally spray it with alcohol to combat smell in summer.

Thanks ! Yeah , I was kinda concerned about it getting rank .

I would normally try to keep one layer of clothing under it , but in the really hot weather it's gonna get sweaty .
