sheer luck or design mastery ?

so, take your hinderer out of your pocket, flip it open and hold it. now switch to reverse grip.
do you feel the pocket clip ? I have a 3,5" in my hands right now, and there is no hotspot with the pocket clip. when I hold it in reverse, the upsweeping lid (to easily slide clip it in a pocket) falls exactly between my middle finger and my ring finger. in regular grip it falls right in the notch of my hand (straight down from my middle finger). it is extremely comfortable and i have not held a knife that does that. is it just sheer luck with my size of hands or is this purposely designed ?
