Can anyone recommend someone to rehab a pair of Sheffield scissors that need adjustment and sharpening?

Adjustments how?

To sharpen that edge requires an expensive clamp. So unless you have some kind of sharpening service. Where you maintain the scissors of cosmetology, barber, or a sheep farmer.

No one else is going to have the clamp.

(Mom was a hairdresser. Some guy would stop by and sharpen every pair of scissors he was handed. That day, that stop. Out the back of a van. No idea what he charged.)

I'd be happy to do it but it won't cover the cost of the clamp.

Yes, researching this it appears sharpening good scissors is not for a rookie.

I found a company in Iowa that specializes in sharpening scissors and clipper blades for barbers and dog grooming places and I sent the scissors off to them today.
