i recently scored one of these wool longhunter shirts... i love it... it has a matching hood, that gives it more of a midevil look...

that is ron laclair in the pic, not me..... he's a well known bowyer and traditional archer... he sells them on his site... www.shrewbows.com they're fairly cheap too...

That is an awesome shirt, not a bad price either. Though the outfit throws me off. Upper half is traditional buckskinner....theeeeeen camo lol.

My main hiking shelter and rain gear is a Six Moon Designs Gatewood Cape-- the best ultralight poncho shelter around. A 35 square foot shelter, a poncho/cape with a full front zipper, hood and map pocket that covers my pack too and it weighs just 11 ounces.

half shelters are quite bulky, I think that a cheapie poncho would be better.
