Hey guys, looking for some options. I love Kifaru's tipi shelter design, and their light, packable wood burning stoves. I don't love their price. Are there any competitors?

Seek Outside.

I have their small BT2 and it seems like a really well done shelter to me.

i've seen other people take a regular tent and sew-in a stove jack/hole (the fabric is made of glass fiber thing). oware and bear paw designs are one of the shops i've read that will mod a 3rd party tent for you that way if you don't want to diy...i haven't seen any threads here specifically but over in bcusa i've seen a few.

If you want to DIY you can get a stove boot kit from Titanium Goat.

I've seen DIY stove boots installed on go-lite Shangri-La tents but there are others you could use. Titanium goat sells their own tipi tents as well. The most important thing is maybe getting a tipi that is big enough since the stove will take up a lot of real estate and you don't want to accidentally rub your sleeping bag against it during a restless night.

If I'm bringing a stove, I'm hauling in a sled. If I'm pulling a sled I'm gonna be comfy.
Picked this tent up this summer used in excellent condition. Many different set-up options, so poles can be cut on site.

No, it's from R.K Lodges. Getting harder to crawl in and out of the 12' Tipi when I have the stove in it. I need to build an up-right stove for the Tipi to save space.
