Sheng Tsai 14" Band Saw

thought i'd get a pheer grinder, and now looking at band saws . maybe a Rikon 14 inch band saw, or i ' m not sure yet. i found the above named saw sheng tsai saw on craigs lost for 150 dollars . do you have any experience w/ this saw ? it's kinda old, add say the guy put on a new billet shaft and wheel. other wise it appears to be a great older machine. the rikon would be like 700 dollars ,, but all new constrution. what do you all use. ?? thanks.

Go see how well you can Bookmatch cut some scale Blocks on it.

hello, are you planning to cut wood or metal ? make sure it can do the speed you need. most bandsaws are fast and only for wood.
