Nice piece, Mark! I really like that look, and the design is everything one needs in a knife.:)

i really like this one. it's cool the way you used the unfinished kinda look. what steel? if your shepard friend doesn't like it, feel free to send it my way.... :D
Alex

Thanks Fellas,

It's 13 1/4" oal. 1095 steel, mortised tang. The pictures dont show how purdy the sheep horn is. There is red and some blue in there in spots.

Very, very cool!! I love the rustic look on it. Is it integral? Let's see some spine shots Master. :)

That is one ba-a-a-a-a-d-assed knife! The horn is excellent, and I love your makers mark.... Mark. :D

It's kind of a weird feeling with this knife. It's the first knife I've ever made that I KNOW will be used for killing. I've given away knives to soldiers that MIGHT be used for killing.

I have a special reverance held for this piece. I am going to put the sharpest edge on this as my skills will permit.

hope it will be painless and quick for dem little sheeps.

I'll post a couple more picks after she's finished.
