This 20 inch AK carries Sher's mark but I'd know it was made by him whether the blade was marked or not. Read the specs and you'll understand why.

Length 20 inches, width 2.5 inches, THICKNESS 11/16 (almost 3/4 in thickest spot). Yep, I had to look twice myself. Weight, 3.5 pounds.

This is standard high quality Sher work. The handle cracked but Vikash has repaired it with fair results. He is not as good as Pala but does acceptable work. All else, karda, chakma, scabbard and frog are very good quality. You get $50 off anyway so take this prybar with a sharp edge for $145 and we will pay shipping. Guaranteed not to bend or break -- ever!

Call or email if interested.

Khukuri FAQ

Ray, when you get this khukuri, let us know how this does as a chopper. I think given its weight and the thickness, this should do excellent work.

I was on the look out for a Sher 18" or 19" something around 3lbs.That is the most weight I want on my belt in any one place. This AK is an inch longer and only 1/2lb more and as thick as it is,I think it is light for it's size.I can't wait to swing this blade.I'll bet the balance will be perfect and the wieght will not be a problem.
You know Bill it even looks slender for an AK.I'll let every one know how it handles.

Ray, you have been using, buying, selling these khukuris for so long you have developed a strong understanding of them and a very keen eye when it comes to visual evaluation.

Your assessment is right on. This is not a really wide blade for an AK of this length but it is thicker than just about any khukuri you'll see no matter what length and no matter who made it or where.

It will be in your hands soon. I think you'll like this one. It is made to chop.
