I have had this khukuri since friday night and I still can't get over the look of this spine.
We all know that sharp this thing will chop what ever is in it's path and dull will brake anything in it's path.
This thing is 3/4" near the handle but with in less that 1.5"of width it drops to a 1/4".From hilt to the bend it is 11/16,the belly width is just under 2.5" and from the spine to the belly the thickness cascades to 3/8" at the shoulder of the edge bevel. The edge itself is thin. Most of the weight feels to be close to the hand and like I thought the balance is as good as on a lighter khukuri.
Sher must be going for the worlds record and we will probably see a ONE INCHER yet(are you listening Kozak) but I am sure it will have the balance and grace of a prima ballerina with the ass of an elephant.

Thanks for the quick tell on this khukuri, Ray.

I love your quote "it will have the balance and grace of a prima ballerina with the ass of an elephant."

You are a poet Ray. May you yet be a rap star. By the way, Who made the Millenium Specials? My #07 has an edge that is hard as all get out. Were these Bura or Sanu jobs?
Leo

Sanu and Bura both worked on the MS khukuris.

Thanks for report, Ray. Were you able to bend the khukuri in the lateral stress test?

Very funny

Nothing human can bend this and pushing or pulling against it will only stress your back.
I may have found the khukuri that will be my head stone.

Ray --- I guess I was right when I was thinking that a "REALLY THICK" khukuri would be neat to have especially if you got quite a collection already.--- It has to be an awesome addition.

Of course, your right and from what I see in the khukuri inventory thread there are many among us that are building sizeable collections. That's really something, considering how this all got started and this HI forum ;I still can't get over all this. All these weapons people exchanging thoughts, rushing online to buy HI khukuris, sometimes I have to pinch myself.

Yea Leo
Maybe I should put that to music.
