The traditional handle just did not work for me

There are "slabs" of high durometer 3/16" silicone epoxied to the tang then wrapped once with green gutted 550 cord then again in the "Strider" style with non-gutted black 550 cord

The grip is amazing as is the shock absorption

Also used some Brownells instant blue which is actually black on the blade

Brownells has a gun browning solution that turns black when you pour boiling water over it. My Tamang has a totally black blade now. Stealthy zombie defense.
Which Brownell's blue did you use? I've used their Oxpho Blue and Dichropan T4 and both are great. Some things will blue with the T4 that just won't take with the Oxpho Blue. I blued the bolt carrier of a Chinese AK 47 with T4 once, after Oxpho Blue failed to give me any results. The T4 gave it a nice dark gray color.
I blued the blade of one of my Swedish Mora Knives with Oxpho Blue. It looks like an expensive hot blue.
On the Tamang, I wanted the entire blade to match the black forge scale of the unground parts.
Nice Khuk and nice wrapping. I've got to learn how to do that. I have some tools at work that could use that treatment.
Where can I learn to cord wrap?

I really like the color, I wish there was a natural way to get that color, I don't think vinegar will ever be able to do that.

Great "tacticool" look!
How is the paracord held in place and is it stable or does it shift around in use?

I reshaped the tang to better accommodate the cord wrap.

for this type of wrap to work it has to be supertight. It does not move at all. Another option is to "dip" the whole handle in epoxy to make it a solid waterproof piece.
