So l heard here on this forum that the folks over at Spartan Blades were going to put out a version with Da Vinci graphics on it this summer. I haven't seen one advertised yet and there is nothing on Spartans website. Da Vinci is sort of a hero of mine and I would really like to pick one up. Does anyone know anything?

What I know is that Spartan has an 'Elite Grade' and I have two of those knives. If Spartan were to do such a knife, it would be worth every penny you've spent in it!

Check their site regularly and put your name on the list as soon as it pops up!

A Damascus version would be fantastic!

I haven’t seen a Da Vinci one but I’ve seen some great new designs they have been posting on instagram lately. Worth following them, as that seems like a place where that info is shared first.

The Da Vinci design was announced as one of their 2023 graphics at SHOT show this year. It seems that they've been a little behind on deliveries of their annual graphics designs, since it seems like some dealers are still waiting on the 2022 designs.

I would suggest giving Spartan a call, they always answer the phone and happily answer any and all questions I have ever had. I'm sure they would be able to give you a better timeline, and you may be able to order one direct from them.

Thank you Silent H!

I've received excellent customer service too. I didn't have any complaints. I simply wanted information and they provided it!

So someone was kind enough to point me to where I could actually purchase the knife but I have to admit to being completely bummed. The day Vinci version appears to only come with a black dlc blade (hate those) and unlike many of the other graphics used which are very sharp with high definition, this one seems very poorly executed almost to the point of being cartoonish. What a sad day! I guess I did save 550 bucks...

This doesn't sound like Spartan or their customer service. Is it possible you saw a model in early or prototype stage?

And yes, take a deep breath and think before you spend that kind of money.

Remember, expectations and reality are difficult to connect perfectly.

I want to see this knife!

A black blade is perfect in symbolism: so much of his work shed light on to answers to questions. Yet, he didn't know it all. Candlelight, no electricity. Fumbling around in the dark...

I'm sure their customer service is fine i didn't mean to imply otherwise. Its just that their graphics on that particular model are very weak. If you compare and contrast them in the video with the next few models you see what I mean. Can you make the argument that they are reproducing his sketches accurately? Maybe? More so on the helicopter design on the reverse side, but the vitruvian man just looks bad. Its really not close. I really wanted to like that knife.
