Sheath making has always been something I've stuggled with since I've been a bladesmith. Once I start making the sheaths its not bad. Its more a matter of just doing it. These will be leaving with me for Eugene in the morning.

nice job! What did you tan the lighter(darkish mix) brown ones with. It looks like mink oil and bees wax.....
 
That one was done on Monday, I'm lucky if I can remember what I did an hour ago. Most I did with a number of different colors, the one you are talking about I may have used just Tandy's antic brown but thats just a guess......
 
Ray, from the looks of those great sheaths, I find it hard to beleive you have ever had a problem making them! Nice, VERY nice, Ray.
 
Hey shappa, Not this year but maybe next year if I can get a table. I'm doing 3 on the West coast this year. Oregon this weekend, Blade West in September, and the Washington Show in October. I was just talking about the Blade Show last night with Bruce Evans.....
