3 5/8" Tony Bose Tribute Swayback Gent In Tozaki green bone.

Shigeru Tozaki is a master knife maker and engraver producing some of the finest high end art knives in the world. Shigeru wants to establish himself in the U.S. market with traditional patterns at a price point the average American collector can acquire . Here's job one from Shigeru, he calls it the Tony Bose Tribute Swayback Gents knife. This is the first all traditional American pattern Shigeru has produced. The knife works like a fine watch, perfect in every detail, fit, finish and function. Shigeru jigs and dyes is own bone using stag bone from Japan. He has many requests for his bone alone from many makers least of those is Tony Bose himself. Tozaki Bone is the next Remington bone but better. There are several other patterns in the works that will be announced soon. Hats off to Shigeru he absolutely nailed this one. Sorry boys and girls this one is already sold.

A master craftsman and a gentleman. Doesn't get much better than that. Look forward to seeing him again in Atlanta.

Beautiful job, exquisit and very elegant.Shigeru really knows how to dye and jig bone, best in the business,IMO.This new approach to providing traditional patterns to the American market at a reasonable priceand should create an instant demand for his knives. Look forward to seeing the other patterns he will be introducing.I think Tozaki is definitley on the bucket list.Good luck to a super nice guy.

Sweet looking knife, but I wouldn't have expected anything less than perfection from Mr.Tozaki. Some of the most adorable and humble people you would ever meet, he and his wife. Can hardly wait to see more of his work.

How fortunate for us to have another top notch knifemaker with an interest in Traditional patterns.
Welcome Mr. Tozaki. I am sure you will be as busy as you want to be.
I too look forward to seeing many more of your fine knives, especially those that might be available.

The texture on the bone is quite distinguished. This really looks great.

I could not agree with Tony any more. I have been very fortunate to be able to call Tozaki-san and his wife friends. His knives are nothing short of noteworthy at the highest level in every aspect and he is very creative. The fit/finish and action of his knives are as fine as anything I have handled.

I was blown away by Mr. Tozaki's work at Blade this year. You can also tell his wife is his biggest fan..very proud of her husband's talent.

Me and several of the folks who have already posted in this thread have all been lucky enough to hang out with Shigeru and his wife in Atlanta one the last several years. He is a true gentleman and craftsman. His wife makes a sweet little knife purse also....
