Question for Codger,I recently got a Schrade Walden 165 Shikari #01714, i remember a thread you had on them and serial numbers you knew of, so i'd like to add my serial number to your list,and if you could tell me where i saw that info i would sure appreciate it,thanks G.M

Hey! ha! just got through the registration to ask a stupid question about an old knife!!!!!!
Anyway... I got this great knife from my dead uncle, A Schrade Walden 165 with a red antler handle and a case with sharpening stone in it. I got it in 1970 when he died. He lived in Anchorage most of his adult life and killed many animals, even a polar bear back in the day. Anyone know about this type of knike. I will never give it up....

Need pictures, especially any markings. We really want to see those handles, also!
