I've been trying to identify a blade the I've been doing some restoration on, it's WWII blade 23 inch, OAL 32 inch no arsenal marking just two marks inscribed on the tang, one is Kan or Kane the other I'm still working on, considering it's been in a barn for 65 years, and the old gent used it for clearing brush, it's has no bends what so ever, and it's still frightfully sharp, no it's never been ground on as far as I can see, could this be a crew carry on? aircraft, tanks, whatever?

23 inch blade is not unusual for a WW II shingunto. Please post picture of the tang markings. Probably the name of the smith. Perhaps I can translate it for you.
