I recently recieved a 705-401 in anticipation of the upcomming holidays and I am now taking golf pretty seriously, if I gotta dress nicely, I can't carry a Dodo. I like my rational, good excuse to pick up a new knife. :D

Anyway, is there a way to shine up the G10? I was just thinking car wax.

I have no idea, but I'd first try armor all...though it will defeat the purpose of having g10. Armorall seems to shine up just about anything for a pretty decent amount of time....

Talking about loosing grip? The G10 on that bad boy is totally smooth anyway. It's quite strange. :D

Don't use car wax. If you just want it to get nice and bright and clean, use something like Ballistol. It's cheap and very safe.

If you want it shiny.....What do ya think about a coat or two of laquer? Seems to me, this would be the best option. I don't really think G-10 takes to shiny too well. Using any wax, IMHO, would only serve to attract dirt, and rub off on anything and everything. Soon, it will look pretty nasty...
