Shinny New BM 806D2

I just got my new 806 today. First thing it's big. The fit and finish is what I expected from BM. The clip point blade is nice also. This is my first axis lock,
my other folders are liner locks. It works well and the blade opens smooth as silk, can you tell I'm impressed!!! Thanks glockman99 for the model suggestion.

I would buy this knife in a heartbeat if it the blade were 3.5" and had a round hole. The Axis lock and the Spydie hole are my two favorite knife features--and never shall they meet...

The BM oval hole works pretty much as well as the Spyderco round hole IMHO, at least on the 806. This is such a smooth opening knife that I don't think there is any appreciable difference, it's certainly easier to open than my Native!
