......and LOVIN' it!!!!!!

Got this off of the maker's forum here and this gentleman is one to watch, IMO.

I really like frame-locks, and stout ones at that......this absolutely fills the bill.

Brian has got the mechanics down, as well as some great artistic touches, and his blade is scalpel-sharp and the grinds right-on. This thing takes NO wrist, locks like the proverbial vault, and carries as nice as any knife I've had in my pocket......I'm impressed.

I only wish I had the skills of a Coop to catch the vivid and awesome ano that's on this knife....greens, blues, violets, gold, chartruse, yellow, etc....extraordinary.

I saw that, when Flud was showing it... my only comment is that I wish the flipper lever was not quite as long/separated, more like the flipper on a Leek.

Other than that, however, it's freakin beautiful!

Since this is not an assisted-opening knife and has no springs, torsion bars, etc., the extended 'appendage' is needed to 'break the detent' and get things moving....literally.

The assisted-opening knives need only to move 'over center' and they are on their way, less than 30` on some, but this knife is a different animal.

I can tell you this...it damn near opens like it was assisted...very smooth and positive and that 'barnacle' on the blade makes a great guard.
