This is to advise everyone the delays that you have been experiencing have been due to US Customs got hold of 82 HI Knives since the first of July and are holding them for customs clearance at New York City Gateway.:grumpy: I will ship your Knife as soon as I can. Thank you all for your patience.

Interesting - I had it in my mind that shipments from Nepal would arrive on the west coast.

I'm stunned and amazed just thinking of the huge distances the Khukuri has traveled by the time it gets to me in Australia? :confused: :eek:

Talk about a global economy !!! Talk about a global knife !!! :D

I suppose we can all hope that there is something important going on in the Customs area that's causing the delay and this isn't just a case of someone there who can't get clearance for his or her head to leave his or her hindquarters.
 
According DHL US customs will keep the Knives shipments for 30 more days for further inspections.
I am truly sorry for not being able to deliver your Knife in time.

It's OK, Yangdu. This is just Karma's way of reminding us that we need to be patient and khuks are just things;):thumbup:

It'll all be OK soon:)
 
Lets hope some one in Custom's understands that the Khuk's are also the livelihood of the Kami's and their families too. :mad:

How many of us who have run a business could afford to be put on 'hold' for a month without experiencing negative short and long term effects? :(
