Unfortunately, my shipments of knives (regular stock and special orders) are being delayed. I am doing everything I can to get them on the way. However, at the present time, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding of this situation. Please be assured as soon as I receive goods I will get them to you.

Don't feel pressured Yangdu. You are the best. Namaste.

Yangdu, Andy is right, don't worry, when they get here, they get here. Thank you for all do for us!

Dick

Dear Yangdu,

If you can avoid worrying, please do so. All you can do is your best. You have always done this. Your best should not be accomplished to the detriment of your life.

Sixteen hour days are too long. We know how committed to H.I. you are. Please try to savor some of your day. H.I. has the reputation of being the best product and the best service. No one wants you to suffer because of the standards you set for yourself. A day later shipping, a delay in response, the elimination of DOTD...whatever it takes, please consider alternatives.

Life is to be lived.

Be well and safe.

Since you don't have shipments coming in, take a day off. Rest, relax, recharge your batteries. Have a little fun!:)

Don't blame yourself for this. This is not your fault.

Things have a way of working themselves out.

I just read about the latest uprisings in Nepal, so I was expecting something like this to happen. Smoke and good wishes from Southern Illinois for you, Yangdu.

Ms Yangdu--

First Priority:

Safety for the Kamis & Families
.
.
lower priority:

safety for the shipments that feed the Families

Rest now as best you can.

Prayers for all.

[You'll know best......
They might want to do -something- to help keep the blades
from rusting during the wait for shipment......
Or hide them well in case snoops come around to cause trouble.

The weather looks ok for now......

What everyone else is saying.

New knives, even lovely DOTDs, pale in comparison to the safety of the people who make them. When the shipments start again, we'll still be here ... and the sharks will be just that much hungrier.

Been reading the papers and following the news on the BBC, and it seems like all the news is bad. Redoubled prayers for the kamis, their families, and all peace loving people in Nepal.:(

While I love to be tempted by those wonderful knives anticipation can only heighten the experience . That horn handled fiullet knife is an example . As interesting as anything you have and well worth the wait .

Yangdu, considering all that you do for HI and the Kamis, and us.....
We'd be very selfish to become impatient with you. I know you're doing your very best!
Thanks for the info.
