A friend of mine came across a huge lot of knives at an estate sale (TRC, Spyderco, Luzon, Benchmade,etc...) What would be the safest way to ship that many knives to the states? I've already checked and all the knives are legal in my state. Just wondering about customs and how that would go.

I'm going to take a wild speculation. I often travel to the French Saint Martin island. Suppose I take back two cartons of cigarettes. I have to pay tax on them cigarettes. Suppose I bought five brand new shirts I have to pay tax on that when I get back to the States as well. If you got to pay taxes on all them knives they may not be worth taking. This is just a personal opinion and is not the law. Good luck I hope you get your knives

I think I would use DHL and I would ship in several boxes.
I guess you're thinking if you lost one box you'd still have the others. I don't know I know you have to pay duties. 90% of the time even contraband gets through. But these are knives not contraband. It's a very tough question isn't it
