Shipping an axe head

In the past couple of weeks I received not one but two axe heads that were shipped in envelopes. Seriously, what are these people thinking? Both of the packages were damaged (DUH) but luckily the heads didn't make it all the way out. Talk about a dangerous thing to do :thumbdn:. Good thing they were not too sharp.

Dangerous..Always use a box and make sure the edge is packed/wrapped in cardboard..

I wouldn't mind if I received on in a cardboard envelop as long as it was double wrapped and such.

I have received them in the priority envelopes, in yellow foam envelopes, in two pieces of cardboard taped together around the axe, and the best one was wrapped in newspaper with a duct tape shell.

We have been guilty of "homemade" boxs but they are always very secure and heavily taped..I cant stand a package thats not secure..

I'm on the wagon for a little while until I can get what I have completed. I'm getting a little backed up currently .
