Shipping boxes

If your shipping something long distance a flat rate box might be the best option but where do you guys get your smaller boxes? I hate shipping a knife a long but obviously not wide knife in a huge box. Any source of boxes that are something like 12x4x4?

The USPS has many sizes of free boxes, some flat rate some not.

Mailing tubes work good as well.

You know the shipping tubes steel comes in? Cut sections off and tape the ends up. They work great and I always have a few laying around.
