Has any body shipped to Isreal/ International from the states? If so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I've shipped a lot of International, as a matter of fact I am filling out the paperwork for 2 packages right now to be shipped Internationally.

Email me if you have specific questions. e.isaacson@insightbb.com

I only ship USPS Global Express, it is more costly ($40-$50) but it offers insurance, tracking and it is quick. You can also get free boxes at the PO ;)

Ditto. Just shipped out packs to Austawlya and Norway on Tuesday.

The USPS site is confusing. Use the 2976-A in all cases instead of the 2976. Sometimes you don't need it, but it CAN be used for anything. IIRC, items more than $200 and 1lb that are not documents automatically go to 2976-A. (Something the foolish website does NOT tell you.)

If you have an acct w/USPS, you can print out the shipping label, get insurance, and have it basically 99% ready for hte PO. It takes only a few seconds longer as they have to put the 2976-A into one of them resealable-clear envelopes on the box.

Oh, and use the LARGE Express box (no need to use Global express - express is express to the USPS.) None of those little boxes. You have to fit your shipping label (make sure it's as far right as possible on the box) and that clear thingy on the face of the box. Up to 2lbs is pretty much the same cost so no biggy.

And as Eric said, Express is better than Priority. I think it's $5-8 more. It gets insurance at cheaper rates and gets there faster. Very worth it.

Shockingly, I've learned all of this in the last 4 days between folks here, the USPS website and the local PO.

And I am glad you ship Internationally as well! Always nice to get a shipping notice!

As an FYI to those people shipping to canada, when you ship by USPS, record the tracking number. You can track the package to the border using usps.com and then track it through canada using canadapost.ca! :)
