I have a gentelmen who want to buy a few knives from me, 2 folders and a fixed blade. Is it legal to ship knives overseas to the Neatherlands? Are there restrictions at all? Thank you!!

Anyone? I got 2 different answers from the USPS. One guy looked it up and said "no weapons" and another guy said "it says nothing on knives but just raidoactive stuff can't be mailed to the Neatherlands so knives must be fine".

no problem at all, as long as they are not illegal weapons like auto's, balisongs, daggers etc.

I've bought many folders and fixed blades from the US without a problem. Just say "hand tool" instead of "knife" or "weapon" on the description and to avoid custom taxes don't declare more than $25.

Posting knives to Europe is not a problem.

Things like autos, pushdagers and balis are restricted in most places but all other knives are fine.

As stated "hand tool" or "camp tool" makes it a bit more friendly sounding for customs as well.
