When shipping a vintage 501 with a terribly over sharpened blade… when requesting a re blade, would they send the old blade back? Do most people use USPS priority mail small flat rate box with tracking .. could you ship 3 knives together at same time.. given there’s that many knife listings on the forever warranty repair form? Asking since their warranty department currently closed and wanted to get to post office early.

No they won't send the old blade back. Yes send usps priority and yes you can send multiple knives in the same package. Just list the knives and what you want done to them individually.
Thank you for the info and prompt reply!

I’ve always sent at least 3 at a time. Saves me and them on shipping costs.

If you want the blade back, it doesn’t hurt to ask. But don’t count on it.

Thankfully, none of mine that need reblading are sentimental. However, I'll miss seeing the old "Buck" in the fancy script on the 505 I'm sending in. That was the slickest blade stamp ever.

I know what you mean. I sent in a 111 Classic with that stamp, now it has a regular boring 110 blade. Lol.

You could cut the blade off before you send the knife in. Then use the fancy tang stamp as a shield for the handle.

That's a good idea. Nothing says class like that old Buck script. When I was a kid, my folks had some fairly well-off friends. The husband had a few slick Bucks on display at their house and one was an Ultima with that script on the blade. Everytime we were at their house, I would stare at that knife and was mesmerized by the fancy Buck stamp.
