shipping to Canada?

Yes. I've had very good success (a few years back, mind you) with HI's shipping to Canada. They use (or used) USPS which is the most hassle-free way to ship things across the line.

It costs a bit more than shipping to the States (of course), but they have all made it intact and relatively quickly (2 weeks-ish).

Just shoot Yangdu an e-mail and ask her what the charges are for it. Ask her how much exactly a specific knife will cost because the prices listed include shipping.

Yes we do ship the Khukuri and sword to Canada, Welcome to HI and forum

Hi Doc,
I live close to you and am looking at ordering a Khurki soon!
Good to see a fellow Canadian here

Shipping to Canada has been $35 since the big jump in gas prices last year I believe. I remember the ol' $25 shipping days. :D

I have ordered three Khuk's from H.I. to Canada, and they all arrived quickly. One thing to note however: all three were opened by customs (came re-taped with yellow tape), and taxes charged on all. I have ordered quite a few knives and other items from the U.S. which have gotten thru with no charge. Something about that triangular box must scream "open me!"
But once you have one of these beauties in your hand any concern of what you paid to get it here goes out the window :D

Wow, crappy luck with customs, brightb. :( I'm pretty certain most of the triangular boxes that came my way were untampered with by customs. They don't always ding me for duty either, which is a lucky stroke!

I have ordered many a khukuri from H.I. and thus far, I have not had a single issue.

Yangdu has provided very fast service though customs has often held packages for inspection. Can you blame them?
